Within their project Antares E2, Lange Research Aircraft GmbH has been developing an electrically driven airplane that is perfectly equipped for a variety of different tasks such as manned or unmanned observation or surveillance flights. The Antares E2 is characterized by its climate-friendly and carbon-neutral powertrain, its unusually high endurance of 40 flight-hours, its high payload of approx. 200kg and a multiple redundancy of all important systems, which makes the airplane a lot safer than its competitors. Antares E2 Wings, Payload, and Fuselage

The main parts of Wings, Payload, and Fuselage are completed now and will receive the final finishing tomorrow. Standing in front of it - a great WOW! A very very large drone ... Going soon.

Fuel cell system in operation

A fuel cell system is under test in Lange, together with an inverter from Elmo Motion Control. The remaining five systems were built by Serenergy and passed the Factory Acceptance Test. The DC-DC converters were also built and successfully tested.
