Hello from AERO 2018!

So far, we are enjoying a great fair and are thrilled by the great interest in our Antares E2. After Monday was dedicated to getting everything ready to go, yesterday we hosted an inspiring panel discussion during which Kay-Sölve Richter (ZDF) spoke about the future of flying with five renowned experts of the aviation industry: Peter van Blyenburgh, president of UVS International, Manfred Reichel, CS-23 Aeroplanes Section Manager of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Dr. Norbert Lohl, chairman of the board of the Unmanned Aviation Association UAV Dach, Robert van Tilborg, Head of UAS Portfolio Management at Airbus, and Axel Lange, CEO of Lange-Group and producer of the Antares E2. Ready to go for AERO

All preparations completed in time. The Antares becomes shipped today towards Friedrichshafen. We will have a long day and probably an additional night to prepare the show and the podium tomorrow.

Things are coming together

Getting the Antares E2 concept aircraft ready in time for the Aero has resulted in many long nights and missed weekends. While the bulk of the work has been performed in Zweibrücken, the support from Aalborg, Munich an Koblenz should not be underestimated. As the deadline is approaching, it is great to see how the various components are coming together, and to finally get a feeling for the look of the Antares E2 in real life. A full view of the completed puzzle will be presented on April 17th, 2018 in Friedrichshafen Aero, half an hour prior to the panel discussion on long endurance sensing. The panel will be shown form 12.30h on online here.
